Brief Introduction

¡¡¡¡The Qinzhou Beibu Gulf Overseas Chinese Investment Zone is the second largest overseas Chinese community in Guangxi. Situated in the eastern part of Qinzhou City, it is located in the central area of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. Covering an area of about 140 square kilometers, the investment zone has unique advantages. It has convenient location and transportation -- 35 kilometers away from Qinzhou City, Qinzhou Port, Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area and China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park; the traffic is very convenient and there are two expressways; the climate is pleasant -- it belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate with abundant rainfall, having the annual average temperature of 22¡ãC, the annual average rainfall of 1,940.7mm, the annual average sunshine of 1,850 hours, the annual average relative humidity of 80.2%, and the vegetation coverage rate of about 85%, which are extremely suitable for the development of fruit cultivation; the land resources are abundant: the total area of the whole zone is 210,000 mus (139.94 square kilometers), and there is a concentrated state-owned land area of 116,878 mu for exploitation and development; human resources are unique: the investment zone has a total population of 17,000 people, of whom 5,735 are returned overseas Chinese from more than 20 countries in the world.
¡¡¡¡The industries that are mainly planned for development include modern characteristic agricultural cultivation industry, light industry such as deep processing of agricultural products, and health tourism industry.

  • ¡¡¡¡Recently, Tan Pichuang, Mayor of Qinzhou City, led a delegation to visit Sichuan Energy Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd. (SCEI) during the 17th Western China International Fair.     ¡¡¡¡With the continuous improvement of shipping and land transport conditions in Qinzhou Port, it has become more and more convenient for Luhua Group to transport peanut oil, rapeseed oil and corn oil from Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province to Qinzhou Port. The ratio of sea transport to land transport reaches 3 to 2. In addition, the logistics channel capacity of Qinzhou to Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou and the regions within Guangxi has been continuously improved.   • ¡¡¡¡Recently, at the signing ceremony of a cooperation framework agreement between Sichuan and Guangxi, mayors of Qinzhou City and Yibin City signed ¡°The Cooperation Agreement on Building the CCI Southern Transport Corridor and Deepening Coordinated Development between Two Regions¡± on behalf of two parties.
    ¡¡¡¡According to the agreement, Qinzhou will work with Yibin to strengthen cooperation in developing the Southern Transport Corridor, logistics, production capacity parks and other key areas, and give full play to advantages and unique characteristics of two cities to achieve resource sharing, complementary advantages and common prosperity. In terms of corridor construction, two sides will make joint efforts to build one, channeling western part of China, including Sichuan and Guangxi, to the coastline, with the shortest distance and time and the lowest cost. They will also work harder on making the project a national-level one, so that it will draw national-wide attention and gain supports from the country. As for logistics, two sides, with corridor building as the basis, both will develop production logistics based on container transport, and passenger and cargo transportation based on industrial cooperation, so as to promote the normal operation of the Yibin-Qinzhou container sea-rail combined transport.
